The short version: your recipes never leave your device.
What happens to what you type
Every calculation runs in your browser. The oils, weights, formulas and recipe text you enter are not sent to any server, and the site has no accounts, no forms that submit anywhere and no third-party scripts of its own.
What is stored on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage, which stays on your device, for three things only:
- Saved soap recipes (
cloverradiance-recipes), when you press Save in the lye calculator. - Custom oils (
cloverradiance-custom-oils), when you add an oil with your own SAP value. - Your colour theme (
cloverradiance-theme), when you choose light or dark instead of following your system.
You can download your saved recipes as a file, delete them one by one or all at once from the lye calculator, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. If your browser blocks storage, the tools still work; they just cannot remember anything.
Analytics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which adds Cloudflare Web Analytics to every page. It counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking and never receives what you type, paste or save in the tools. Cloudflare, as the host, also processes the technical data any web server sees, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.
Links to other sites
Links to sources, sister sites, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck take you to other websites with their own privacy policies. Nothing is shared with them when you click.
